The P/T toggle settings affect not only playback but also anything you export. The basic rule of thumb is for small changes such you might make in a track from performance purposes, The P setting will give you the better quality. For larger changes, say >15%, the T setting will give you better quality. This will be more noticeable the greater the change in tempo. The T mode takes more memory and CPU power, so if you have an older computer you should consider only using the P mode. Lastly, if you right click over the P/T toggle you will see a secondary menu of quality settings, choosing a lower setting here can also reduce the system resources requirements. | |
