When I attempt to slow or zoom the video picture freezes

We have seen this issue only a few times and are not sure what causes it. Our best guess is that it is a codec issue and what we have done in the past is asked users to update the codec package on their machine.

Before you do that please go to your RUN command and enter the text shown below to re-register you AVI codec.

Start -> Run -> regsvr32 quartz.dll

If this doesn't solve the problem, please try downloading and installing this Codec Pack

After downloading and installing, please try running Video Surgeon again and let me know if that solves the problem.
