Quite a while back, we changed the way that we processed the audio to achieve better synchonization with the video. This change may cause files that you previously open in these older version to play incorrectly. They may play too slow or too fast and sound like Darth Vader or a chipmunk. To fix this problem, do the following: Go to the Video Surgeon 2 "Cache" and "Temp" subfolders and DELETE everything in them.

You can find the location of these subfolders by going to the Options Button. There you will see the
path and location of the Temp folders. The Cache subfolder is in the same location as the temp subforlder. Again delete all files and folders INSIDE of these sub folders,
not the folders themselves.

Once you have done this open the file again. VS will reconvert it and it should now play correctly
for you.
