Transferring .ssp files from one computer to another
Posted by James Todd (Import) on 17 May 2013 12:07 PM
Project files contain data about key, tempo, loop, and other SS settings. In addition they contain
paths to the audio files used in each project.
When you install Song Surgeon on a different computer
and move your project files to that computer, these project files will work on you new computer
provided the following criteria are met:

1. The audio files associated with each project file are also moved to the new computer.

2. The paths on your new computer are identical to your old computer   OR  you change the
paths in the .ssp file to reflect the paths on your new computer.  You can open a .ssp file
with a text editor like WordPad or Notepad and edit the paths that appear in them
