Your computer name was probably assigned when you first bought your computer, logged on and started using it.

Your Computer Name can be found by right clicking the My Computer icon found on the desk top of most computers. Right click this icon. It will open up a menu, select “Properties” from this menu

If you don’t see an icon on your desktop, then browse your file structure and you will see it there as shown to the left. Right click this My Computer icon. It will open a menu. Select “Properties” from this menu.

After clicking properties, the following screen will open.  From this screen, please select the “Computer Name” tab.

On the Computer Name tab, you will see your computer name as shown with the red arrow pointing to it.

Please note, that as in the example below, the name  “Office_PC. “  has a period after it.  This is a character inserted by Windows.  You MUST NOT include this period in the name.  In this example, you would only use “ Office_PC “ as the name for the registration form.
