7/13/15 - YouTube Sniffer - Song Surgeon for Windows

7/13/15 - The YouTube Sniffer module recently stopped working on some
YouTube URL's.   This issues has now been fixed in the most recent build which is 4.0.2.0.

If you are encountering problems with the YT Downloader please uninstall your current
build and then download and reinstall this new build.

This problem was only in Song Surgeon Version 4 Windows. No other products were affected.

YT Downloader Issue in Song Surgeon Windows Now Fixed

4/29/15 - YouTube made a change on their site that broke the YT Downloader functionality on
Song Surgeon 4 Pro.  This is now fixed and a new version has been released.  This
version is 4.0.1.8.   It can be downloaded fromt he Downloads Section of the Help Desk.

YouTube Changes Are Affecting the YT Sniffer on Song Surgeon Pro

Sometime earlier today (4/27/15), YouTube made some kind of a change on the site that has stopped
the YT Sniffer from working correctly in Song Surgeon Pro.  It continues to function fine in Download Surgeon
and it Video Surgeon.  Are software team is aware of this and is already working to fix it.  We will have an new
build out within the next 1 -2 days.

New Help Desk Information

Welcome to the new Help Desk for Todd, Michael & James (DBA | TMJ Software).  We provide support
for all products from this single Help Desk.  These products are:

  • Song Surgeon
  • Video Surgeon
  • Audio Switch
  • SlideTrax
  • Guitar Leads Master Volume
  • Learn2Jam Guitar Soloing System

The new Help Desk is similar to the old one, but like anything new, there are some differences. Previous
users of the Help Desk, are registered in this new system - BUT - you will need to create a new
password
by clicking the LOST PASSWORD link and resetting your password.

Ifyou have not used our Help Desk before, you will first need to create an account, before you can log in and
submit a ticket.

Renewal of Support Plans

Your purchase of our products entitles you to a period of free support. This is different for each product and is specified on the product's website - on the Support page. After this specified period of time, the use of the Ticket System is subject to a fee, depending upon the issue.

If the issue you need assistance with is due to a bug on our end, there will be no charge. However, if it is due to something other than a bug in the software, you will be asked to extend your support plan another year, before we respond to your ticket. Each ticket submitted will be reviewed and if there is a need to extend your support plan you will be notified.

All remaining parts of the Help Desk, such as the Knowledgebase and Download's section remain available to you at no additional cost, at all times.
